Michael Schilling

Michael Schilling has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Oda since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Storebrand from 2017 to 2021, where they held various roles such as Digital product lead, Digital Product Manager, and Product Manager and Digital Business Developer. Before that, they worked as the Managing Director at nexiles GmbH from 2010 to 2017, focusing on advising and strategizing for efficient engineering design processes. Michael also founded solunor in 2009, where they worked as a Business Consultant and Software Developer. In addition, they have experience as a Consultant and Technical Manager at Engineering Data Resources - EDR from 2006 to 2008 and as a Consultant and Software Developer at TRIVIT AG from 2004 to 2005. Michael started their career as a Diploma design engineer at Audi AG in 2004 and also worked as a Student Information Technology at TRIVIT AG from 2000 to 2003. Michael also served in the German Bundeswehr for military service from 1999 to 2000. Throughout their career, they have focused on digital tools and systems, delivering innovative solutions and driving effective engineering design processes.

Michael Schilling attended Technisches Gymnasium Ravensburg from 1996 to 1999 and earned a degree in Allg. Hochschulreife with a focus on Physics and Mechanical design. Michael then pursued higher education at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Konstrukstionslehre, Energiemaschinen. In 2014, they also completed an Executive Masters Program in Forhandlingskompetanse at BI Norwegian Business School.
