Julia Miura, SHRM-CP

Julia Miura, SHRM-CP, has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Julia currently serves as the People Operations Manager, US & APAC at Odaseva, where they lead the Enterprise Data Protection Platform for Salesforce customers. Prior to this, Julia worked at mPulse Mobile as an HR Business Partner, managing employee experience programs and serving as a trusted HR partner for the organization. Julia also held the role of HR Generalist at mPulse Mobile, where they led new hire orientations, developed trainings, and supported employee engagement initiatives.

Before joining mPulse Mobile, Julia worked at HealthCrowd as an HR Generalist and Office Manager, where they managed healthcare communication platforms and served top managed care organizations. Additionally, they gained experience as an Assistant General Manager at SusieCakes Bakeries, Events, Social Media, and Tasting Room Associate at Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards, and Catering Sales Manager and Food & Beverage Leader in Development at Omni Hotels & Resorts, where they exceeded sales goals and received positive customer feedback for their outstanding work.

Julia also worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Cal Poly Pomona and participated in the Disney College Program as an Outdoor Ventures Cashier at The Walt Disney Company. Overall, Julia Miura has demonstrated their skills and expertise in people operations, HR, customer service, and event management throughout their career.

Julia Miura, SHRM-CP, has a comprehensive education history. Julia attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hospitality Management. In 2013, they took part in a study abroad program at Apicius International School of Hospitality, Florence University of the Arts, focusing on Food, Wine, and Italian Culture. Prior to their time at Cal Poly Pomona, they attended Mission College from 2008 to 2011, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Hospitality Management. Before entering college, Julia Miura completed their high school education at Los Altos High School.

In addition to their educational background, Julia Miura has obtained several certifications. Julia holds the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management, which they received in February 2022. Furthermore, in April 2014, they received the Introductory Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas.
