Avi Boppana has diverse work experience in various research and technology roles. Starting in 2018, Avi co-founded and served as Director of Alimtas Bioventures at Princeton University until May 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Computational Biology Researcher at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in 2018. In 2019, Avi joined Harvard Medical School as a Research Consultant and later became a Research Fellow at the Harvard Summer Institute of Biomedical Informatics.

Moving to Princeton University in 2019, Avi volunteered as a Biostatistician at the Smith Center for Infectious Disease and Urban Health and conducted research as a Researcher in Functional Genomics. Their research focused on computational methods for genomics-informed therapeutic development, resulting in a publication in Kidney International.

In 2020, Avi expanded their research experience as a CCB Genomics Researcher at the Flatiron Institute under the Simons Foundation. They also served as a Research Consultant for the HuBMAP Consortium at The National Institutes of Health, collaborating with Dr. Griffin Weber at the Harvard Medical School. Their work involved developing a three-dimensional coordinate system for cells in the human body using graph theory tools.

Avi's expertise continued to grow in 2021, working as a Computational Chemistry and Deep Learning Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before assuming the role of Co-Founder and CTO at Revela, which was later acquired. Currently, Avi holds the position of Head of Platform at Oddity Labs.

Avi Boppana has studied at Princeton University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
