David Zhang

David Zhang has a strong background in bioengineering and biotechnology. David is currently working as the Head of Bioengineering at ODDITY LABS, where they utilize advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and 3D cell models to develop science-backed solutions. Prior to this, David was a Co-Founder and CSO at Revela, where they used AI and biotechnology to create innovative consumer products. David has also pursued academic research, obtaining a Ph.D. from Harvard University and an M.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto, focusing on inflammatory cell responses and vascular regenerative materials. David completed their undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at McGill University.

David Zhang began their education at Waterloo Collegiate Institute, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 2007 to 2011. David then continued their studies at McGill University from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science Honors (B.Sc.) in Immunology. Moving on, they pursued a Master of Arts and Science (M.A.Sc) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2014 to 2016. Finally, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Science, specifically in the field of Bioengineering, at Harvard University from 2016 to 2021.
