Oren Eytan

Oren Eytan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Oren is currently the Chief Of Democracy at @Democratech Israel, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Oren co-founded and served as the CEO of odix, a role they held from December 2009 until February 2018, and then as Co-founder & CEO starting from March 2018. Oren is also an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council since November 2020. Earlier in their career, Oren served as the CEO of InterSec Ltd. starting from January 2008. Oren was the VP Business Development at Gita Technologies Ltd. from December 2006 to June 2008. Before that, Oren worked at Motorola in the field of information security business development from 2004 to 2006. Oren'simpressive work history also includes a long tenure in the Israeli Defense Forces, where they served as the Head of Cyber Security Unit from January 1982 to December 2003.

Oren Eytan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, where they attended from 1978 to 1982. Later, they pursued their PhD in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington, graduating from 1988 to 1991.
