David Klein

David Klein has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing and automotive industries. David started their career at Dura Automotive Systems, where they held the positions of Director of Controls Systems Sales and later Vice President & General Manager of Shifter/Cable Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for managing large accounts, leading business units, and overseeing various operational functions. David then joined Whirlpool Corporation as Vice President of Product Development, where they played a key role in developing and implementing global product strategies for dishwashers and refrigeration. Currently, they serve as the President and Chief Operating Officer at ODL, Inc, a home building products manufacturer, where they are responsible for developing and executing annual plans and budgets for the business.

David Klein completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. David later pursued their Master of Business Administration specializing in Finance at Oakland University, attending from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained various certifications, including "Body Language for Leaders," "Navigating Awkward Situations at Work," "Hiring, Managing, and Separating from Employees," "Mergers & Acquisitions," and "Performance Management: Conducting Performance Reviews." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in 2019.
