Sebastiaan van Sandijk

Sebastiaan van Sandijk has been working in the healthcare industry since 2006. Sebastiaan began their career as an Advisor for DiaMediPort's information architecture at Informatters. Sebastiaan then worked as a healthcare information strategist, clinical informatician, and interoperability expert at I Logos Network - Meaningfull IT. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Ondervinder at De Hictoloog. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Information Engineer and Consultant EPD-integratie at MRDM (Medical Research Data Management B.V.). From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Clinical Informatics and Healthcare Project Coach at Value2Health. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Chief Health Information Officer and Health Information Strategist at Fundashon Mariadal. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Business Development & Analysis and Clinical Informatics at First Line Software. From 2019 to the present, they have been working as a Collaborator at OHDSI (Observational Health Data Sciences & Informatics) and as a Clinical Informatics, Business Developer, and EU-Collaborations at Odysseus Data Services, Inc. Sebastiaan is currently also working as a Health Technologist and Interoperability Specialist at Health-Thing.

Sebastiaan van Sandijk attended the Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem from 1982 to 1988, where they obtained a VWO degree. Afterwards, they attended the University of Twente from 1988 to 1995, where they obtained an MSc in Applied Physics and Philosophy of Technology.
