Ben Ridge

Ben Ridge has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering field. Ben currently works at Odyssey Energy Solutions as an Engineering Manager and Tech Lead, where they guide a global team and ensures the scalability, security, and resilience of their stack and services. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Odyssey Energy Solutions, specializing in Java backend development and building reactive Java integrations. Ben also has experience at CA Technologies as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were promoted to team leader and focused on performance improvements and enhancing the automated test experience. Additionally, they worked at Rally Software Development (now CA Technologies) as a Senior Software Engineer, and at Vertis Communications, Inc. and a2c Media Ltd. as a Software Engineer and Web Developer/Sales Technician respectively. Ben began their career at McKesson as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed new features for the Horizon Emergency Care application and increased developer productivity by developing a streamlined check-in process tool. Ben also worked as a Software Engineer - Contractor at QFleet and as a Software Engineer at V-Span.

Ben Ridge attended North Carolina State University from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
