William Duren

William Duren has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. William started their career at Burns & McDonnell as a Marketing Intern in 2012. William then interned as an Electrical Engineering Intern in the Terminal and Pipeline group at Burns & McDonnell in 2013, where they focused on electrical design tasks. William continued in a similar role in 2014, working on electrical and communication design for booster stations and storage facilities. William also worked part-time as a Scholars Assisting Scholars Tutor at Kansas State University, tutoring chemistry and engineering physics. William also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Civil Engineering Department at Kansas State University. In 2017, William joined TFE Energy as a Consultant, where they developed and streamlined proposal processes with development agencies. William then moved on to Odyssey Energy Solutions in 2019, where they held various roles including Business Development Manager, Customer Success Manager, Director of Product, and currently holds the position of Software Engineer.

William Duren attended the Technical University of Munich from 2016 to 2019, earning their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Power Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Kansas State University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Power Systems.
