Amanda Allen

Amanda Allen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of laboratory operations. Amanda currently holds the position of Executive Director of Operations and Facilities at Odyssey Therapeutics since March 2022. Prior to this, they founded LabOps Unite Community in September 2020.

Amanda's previous roles include being the Senior Director of Operations and Director of Lab Operations at Scorpion Therapeutics from May 2020 to February 2022. Amanda also served as the Global Laboratory Operations Manager at Dewpoint Therapeutics from August 2019 to May 2020.

Before that, Amanda gained experience as the Senior Manager of Laboratory Operations at Vivid Biosciences from April 2018 to August 2019. Amanda also worked at Unum Therapeutics where they held the positions of Manager of Internal Operations and Laboratory Manager from March 2016 to April 2018.

Amanda started their career with positions at New Forest Earth as the Regional Field Director, Volunteer from August 2011 to May 2015. Amanda then became a Laboratory Manager at Tufts University from September 2012 to April 2015. Their earliest work experience was at The Broad Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they held roles such as Laboratory Coordinator/Research Associate and Assistant Animal Technician respectively.

Amanda Allen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science and Environmental Studies from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2004. Amanda then pursued further education at Harvard University Extension School from 2007 to 2015 and earned an ALM in Extension Studies with a concentration in Management. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Quick Base App Builder from Quick Base in June 2018.
