Mikkel Øberg

Mikkel Øberg is an experienced professional in radiation protection and safety, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Copenhagen Atomics and as the Director of Radiation Protection at Danish Decommissioning since April 2014. With a strong background as a Health Physicist and Operations Engineer, Mikkel has contributed significantly to various projects focused on radiological safety and waste management. In addition to directorial duties, Mikkel is actively involved in international committees, including the OECD's Committee on Radiological Protection and Public Health, and the Euratom Article 31 Group of Experts. Mikkel has also served as a mentor for STEM students and has experience in education and content creation in the gaming industry. Mikkel's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering and a Health Physicist degree, with ongoing education in Public Governance at Copenhagen Business School.
