Zaid Salim

Zaid Salim has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Zaid is currently serving as the Director of Operations at OES Inc. since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Etratech from 2012 to 2021, holding various roles including Director of Operations, Director of Global Quality Assurance, General Manager, and QA Manager. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a QA Manager at Martinrea International. Before that, they spent a significant portion of their career at Omron, starting in 2001. During their time at Omron, Zaid held roles such as OMRON ODI QA, where they led teams and collaborated with global automakers and tier 1 and 2 to improve processes for new program launches. Zaid also served as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, contributing to the development of QA procedures and participating in new product launches. Zaid's earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Quality Manager/Quality Supervisor at Beltronics and as a Research and Development Manager at Supermade SDN BHD.

Zaid Salim completed their education in a chronological order. In 1983, they enrolled in Al-Jami'at Al-Technologia and pursued a B.Sc. degree in Control and System Engineering. Zaid successfully completed their degree in 1989. Later, in the year 2000, Zaid attended Sheridan College and obtained a Diploma in Quality Assurance (Advanced) which lasted until 2003. Additionally, in 2001, they briefly studied Design for Manufacturing at the University of Toronto.
