Tom Kunzemann

Tom Kunzemann has accumulated a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Tom began their career in 2012 as a Frontend Engineer at Cityfield IT Soloutions GmbH, where they gained experience in PHP development and wrote a travel application. In 2014, they joined Zenubu GbR as a Backend Engineer, where they worked on AngularJS and Silex frameworks, focusing on test case creation. Tom then joined Nextbike GmbH in 2015 as a Software Engineer, contributing to agile development practices and introducing object-oriented programming to the team. After that, in 2017, they worked at InVision Group as a Senior Frontend Engineer, where they gained knowledge of design systems and atomic design. In 2018, they transitioned to a Junior Software Architect role at Smartplatz GmbH, where they introduced domain-driven design and supported the digitalization of local retail. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Town & Country Haus Lizenzgeber GmbH as a Software Architect Team Lead, establishing agile software development processes and forming an interdisciplinary team. In 2022, they joined spcfy GmbH as a [Startup] Software Architect Team Lead, taking responsibility for documentation, processes, and development within the IT department. Most recently, they have joined Oetker Digital as a Tech Lead Engineering.

Tom Kunzemann attended HTWK Leipzig from 2009 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatik.
