Director Of Commercialization And Product Innovation at Oregon Freeze Dry

Carolyn Ottenheimer has a strong background in product innovation and research and development. Carolyn most recently served as the Director of Commercialization and Product Innovation at OFD Foods, LLC starting in April 2019. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at Farmhouse Culture from 2017 to 2019, including Vice President of Innovation and Interim Executive Operations Leader. Before joining Farmhouse Culture, Carolyn was the Senior Director, R&D and Chief Flavor Architect at Snyder's-Lance, Inc. from 2016 to 2017. Carolyn also held leadership positions at Diamond Foods, Inc. from 2010 to 2016, including Senior Director, Research & Development and Director of Technical Services & Chief Flavor Architect for the Kettle brand. Carolyn's career in the food industry began at Kettle Foods in 1999, where they served as the Director of Technical Services and Chief Flavor Architect until 2010.

Carolyn Ottenheimer's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Puget Sound, which they obtained from 1988-1992. Carolyn then pursued a Master of Science degree in Food Science & Technology at Oregon State University from 1995-1998. In 2014, they attended the Leadership Development Program for Mid-Senior Level Managers at the Center for Creative Leadership. In 2016, Carolyn completed the Executive Women's Leadership Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education.
