John Neal

John Neal has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role as a Business Development Manager at Off Duty Management since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the State Chapter President for the Mississippi Association of Chiefs of Police from September 2020 to September 2022. From July 2015 to September 2022, they were the Chief of Police for the City of Ridgeland, MS. John had a long tenure with the City of Ridgeland Police Department, starting as a Law Enforcement officer in January 1989 and continuing until September 2022. Additionally, they served as the State Chapter President for the Mississippi FBI National Academy Associates from August 2017 to August 2019. Throughout their time with the City of Ridgeland, they held the position of Lieutenant in the Criminal Investigations Division from January 1989 to July 2015.

John Neal attended The University of Southern Mississippi from 1983 to 1987, where they studied Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. In 2008, they attended the FBI National Academy Session #235, focusing on Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. Additionally, from an unspecified start date to 2017, they received training at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, specifically completing the LEEDS Session #76.
