Eddie Arpin

Eddie Arpin began their career in 2008 as a Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology, where they developed real-time software within a Linux environment using C and C++, worked with GIS databases to provide real-time a priori knowledge for navigation and driver feedback systems, and developed a novel approach for estimating high accuracy position in real-time with a fusion of GPS, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and 2D optical velocity sensors with a Kalman filter for a lane departure warning system.

In 2012, Arpin became Co-Founder of Clowd Lab LLC, where they fulfilled customer project objectives by managing development efforts and interacting with clients, developed Android/HTML 5 mobile applications for a local sports event management company, worked with a regional home improvement retail franchise to develop an inventory control Android tablet application for sales floor employees and auditors, and developed and marketed a RESTful iOS and Android order tracking application.

In 2014, Arpin joined Sport Ngin as a Software Engineer, where they were a lead software engineer and architect on the iOS mobile application and worked closely with Product Development and UI/UX to build out new features as well as refactoring existing functionality with modern design principles and technology.

Most recently, Arpin became Co-Founder of OfferingTree SBC in 2016, a Public Benefit Corporation registered in Minnesota that simplifies website management, scheduling, and payment processing so that wellness professionals including coaches, yoga teachers, personal trainers, mindfulness instructors, and others can focus on their clients and students.

Eddie Arpin obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, specializing in Mechanical Engineering.
