Jake Alewel

Jake Alewel is a highly experienced software development engineer with a focus on iOS and React technologies at OfferUp since June 2014. Over the years, Jake has progressed from a Software Development Intern to a Staff Software Development Engineer, contributing to the planning and implementation of new features for the OfferUp app and managing the end-to-end release cycle. Before joining OfferUp, Jake gained valuable experience as a Food Runner at Westin Hotels & Resorts, and as an Editor and Camera Operator for Vegas Wise TV. Jake holds a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics from the University of Washington, obtained in 2016.
