McEvan B. has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Assistant Counsel at the Office of Government Ethics since June 2021. Prior to this role, McEvan held the position of General Attorney at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel from March 2018 to June 2021. Earlier in the career, McEvan worked at Winston & Strawn LLP from September 2014 to March 2018 as both Attorney Team Lead and Review Attorney. McEvan also served as Of Counsel at The Internet Law Group from 2012 to 2014. Educationally, McEvan earned a J.D., cum laude, with a concentration in Business Law from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and holds a BA with a double major in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Family Studies from the University of Maryland.
