Emmanuel Ssembatya

Emmanuel Ssembatya is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in auditing and banking. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Auditor at the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta since October 2021, Emmanuel has progressed through various roles including Intermediate Staff Auditor and Staff Auditor. Prior to this role, experience includes working as an Operations Officer at TD, focusing on operational efficiency, and significant tenure at Housing Finance Bank where responsibilities included reconciliation and customer service, contributing to substantial asset growth and enhanced client onboarding processes. Emmanuel holds a CPA designation from CPA Canada, and additional certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Makerere University.
