Amanda Pennington

Amanda Pennington is a seasoned professional in the field of child welfare, currently serving as the Director of Client Services at the Office of Colorado's Child Protection Ombudsman since May 2019. In this role, Amanda leads a team of analysts dedicated to addressing and resolving complaints related to the child protection system while acting as a liaison to various local and state agencies. Previously, Amanda held positions such as Child Welfare Systems Analyst at Mesa County Public Health and Program Supervisor for SafeCare of Mesa County with the Mesa County Department of Human Services. Amanda's academic background includes a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Arkansas State University, and multiple Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology from Colorado Mesa University.
