Courtney Butcher currently serves as the Director of Member Services at the Office of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Butcher directed member services for the House Republican Conference from June 2021 to October 2023 and held various positions within the U.S. House of Representatives from June 2013 to June 2021, including overseeing member services and coalitions for the Education and Workforce Committee, as well as scheduling for Representatives Virginia Foxx and Chuck Fleischmann. Additionally, Butcher worked as the Romney Family Scheduler during the Romney for President campaign in 2012 and spent several years as a 7th-grade social studies teacher at Ipswich Middle School from 2007 to 2012. Butcher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History, Middle School Education, and Political Science from Gordon College, earned between 2003 and 2007.
