Wilko Heuten

Wilko Heuten is a highly experienced professional in the field of mixed reality and human-machine interaction, currently serving as Co-Founder of Blending Realities since April 2024. At OFFIS - Institut für Informatik, where Wilko has worked since April 2001, responsibilities include managing the Mixed Reality group and leading the Interactive Systems group, focusing on strategic research development and project coordination. Additionally, Wilko holds positions as a Senior Principal Scientist in pervasive interaction and has been a lecturer at various academic institutions, including Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and IBS IT & Business School Oldenburg e.V. Wilko's academic foundation includes a degree in Informatik from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and studies at California State University, Long Beach.
