Ed Holmes

Ed Holmes has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Ed is currently working at Ofgem as the Chief Speechwriter and Head of Editorial Strategy since February 2022. Previously, they worked at the Department for International Trade (DIT) as a Senior Ministerial Speechwriter from June 2018 to February 2022. In 2017, Ed briefly worked as a Special Adviser to the CEO at UK Finance and British Bankers' Association. Ed was a Senior Researcher at the Reform Think Tank from 2015 to 2016 and also served as a Consultant at MAXIMUS UK and Joseph Rowntree Foundation in 2015. Prior to that, they held various roles at Policy Exchange, including Senior Economics Consultant and Senior Research Fellow, Economics, from 2009 to 2014. Ed's early work experience includes being a Researcher at the UK Parliament from 2008 to 2009.
