Shari Mahon

Shari Mahon has a wealth of experience in the flavor and innovation industry. Shari is currently the VP Head of Global Innovation—Spices at OFI, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President, Global Innovation at Sweegen from February 2018 to March 2022. From June 2016 to February 2018, Shari held the role of Vice President, Commercial Development at FlavorHealth. Before that, they worked as a Senior Regional Account Manager at Senomyx, Inc. from August 2014 to June 2016. Shari also has experience as the Vice President, Category Management & Marketing at MANE from September 2012 to February 2014. Additionally, they worked at Firmenich from September 2007 to August 2012, holding various positions including Global Category Director and Business Development Manager. Prior to that, they were an Applications Manager at Danisco from 2005 to 2007. Shari's career started at Sensient Flavors in 2000, where they held roles such as Beverage Applications Manager, Senior Beverage Technologist, and Beverage Category Manager until September 2005. Before that, they worked at Flavorman as a Laboratory Manager and Product Development Manager from January 1993 to January 2000. Shari began their career in the flavor and product development field at Brown-Forman as a Flavor and Product Development Technician from January 1989 to January 1993.

Shari Mahon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Bellarmine University, which they obtained from 1988 to 1997. Shari later pursued an Executive MBA from Rider University, specializing in Business Administration and Management, with an end year of 2010.
