Tony Ruszala

Tony Ruszala is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and technology spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Technician at OFS since September 2011, Tony specializes in the development of high power laser combiners and cavities, focusing on efficiency and thermal management. Prior to this role, Tony held positions at Xtera Communications, managing the manufacturing test process for ROADM circuit packs, and at Lucent Technologies, evaluating communication system components. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, developing undersea lightwave repeater test sets, as well as at RCA Solid State Corporation, where responsibilities involved the design of test fixtures for integrated circuits. Tony holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Middlesex College.
