Phillip Dixon

Phillip Dixon has extensive experience working in the water industry. Phillip currently holds the position of Principal at Ofwat, a role they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Market Development Manager at Thames Water from September 2015 to March 2020. In 2014, they were the Regulatory Economics Manager at Sydney Water, where they led the regulatory economics team and worked on pricing and competition-related issues. Before that, they founded and directed RPD Consulting, where they assisted water company clients with regulatory compliance and market reform. Phillip also worked as a Special Advisor at the Environment Agency, where they provided project management and regulatory impact assessment on various projects. In their earlier career, they held multiple roles at Ofwat, including Head of Abstraction Reform and Head of Competition. Phillip also worked as an Economist at OFFER.

Phillip Dixon completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham between 2000 and 2002.
