Chris Lelak

Chris Lelak, PE, PMP has extensive experience in project management and engineering roles within the energy industry. Chris has worked for both OGE Energy Corp. and Duke Energy Corporation.

At OGE Energy Corp., Chris served as the Director of Large Project Execution, Project Controls, and Land Management, where they led the execution of a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from small-scale to multi-million dollar endeavors. Chris also focused on enhancing decision-making and execution excellence through the implementation of Project Management Information Systems.

Prior to this role, Chris was the Director of Large Project Execution and Quality Assurance, overseeing the successful execution of strategic projects and enforcing adherence to project designs and standards across the company's service territory.

Chris also worked as the Director of Capital Projects, responsible for the completion of two circulating fluidized bed scrubbers and baghouses at Sooner Station. During this time, they achieved Zero Lost Time Accidents, completed the project on time and under budget, and ensured all contractual performance guarantees were met.

Before joining OGE Energy Corp., Chris held the position of Expert Project Manager and Lead Project Manager, where they gained valuable experience in managing complex projects.

During their tenure at Duke Energy Corporation, Chris held various roles, including Lead Project Engineer, Project Manager, Lead Electrical Engineer, and Progressive Project Engineering Roles. Chris was involved in a range of projects, such as SCR Retrofit, IGCC project, and plant design reviews.

Chris Lelak, PE, PMP graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In July 2008, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the State of Indiana. In October 2014, Chris obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Most recently, in October 2020, they received a Professional Engineer certification from the State of Oklahoma.
