Rafail Foutzopoulos

Rafail Foutzopoulos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and engineering within the maritime and construction industries. Currently serving as Managing Director for Øglænd System Group in the Netherlands since July 2023, Rafail also holds the position of Regional Head of Offshore for Hilti Nederland BV since July 2022. Prior roles include Head of Trade Marketing and Product Manager at Hilti Poland from April 2018 to June 2022, and a Senior Engineer in Development & Innovation at Meyer Werft GmbH & Co. KG from October 2013 to March 2018, where responsibilities included product development and project management for ship systems. Additional experience includes a role as Refueling Supervisor with the Hellenic Navy and a diploma thesis focusing on maritime safety incidents. Rafail's academic background includes a Diploma in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, an M.B.A. from HSB Hochschule Bremen, and an Erasmus semester at Technische Universität Berlin.
