Anna Garver

Anna Garver is the Deputy Director of Finance and Planning at the Department of Youth Services. In this role, she oversees all fiscal and business services for the agency, including budgets, grants, financial reporting and analysis, capital construction and maintenance, procurement, accounting, audits, asset management, and fleet. She serves as the DYS fiscal advisor and strives to align resources with agency strategies and policies to habilitate youth.

Anna ensures that daily procurement and payments are made while adhering to state law, policies and best practices. Working collaboratively with others, the Office of Finance and Planning supports the facilities and community by providing expectations, guidance, and assistance to those in the field.

Anna served at the Department of Administrative Services for 11 years prior to joining the Department of Youth Services. She provided leadership and oversight in the areas of budget and rate development, audit, policy development, process improvement, and financial reporting. Before this, she worked as an accountant in a venture capital investment company.

Anna has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Franklin University.
