William Kennedy

William Kennedy possesses a robust background in archaeology and anthropology, with extensive experience coordinating archaeological and historic sites at the Ohio History Connection since July 2019, where the role includes managing partnerships with 29 sites. As an adjunct faculty member at Wright State University since 2003, William has taught over 20 courses, emphasizing North American archaeology. Previous roles include serving as a staff archaeologist at Applied Anthropology Laboratories, where oversight included a significant metal detector survey of a historic battlefield, and a senior curator for the Dayton Society of Natural History, administering multiple departments across three museums. William holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Kent State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Wright State University.
