Mia Barnes

Mia Barnes is a highly motivated professional with a background in political support and communication. Currently serving as a Senior Legislative Aide for the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus, Mia has previously held positions such as Fellow at the Progressive Turnout Project and Campaign Coordinator for the Re-Elect Nickie Antonio campaign. Additionally, Mia gained valuable experience as a Political Intern in the Office of Senator Nickie Antonio and has contributed significantly to student governance at Kent State University as a Senator for The College of Communication and Information. Mia's experience also includes roles in media and social media management, alongside educational outreach as a Student Ambassador. Mia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Kent State University.
