Phil Yackee Mba, M.ed.

Phil Yackee, MBA, M.Ed. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of athletics and ticket operations. Phil most recently worked at The Ohio State University Department of Athletics starting in September 2015. Phil held various roles including Director of Ticketing Finance, Assistant Ticket Director, and Ticket Services Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for managing ticket operations for various events, collaborating with other departments on event coordination, and assisting customers with inquiries and purchases. Prior to their time at Ohio State, Phil worked as an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations at the University of South Florida and as an Athletic Ticket Office Intern at Bowling Green State University and the University of Michigan. Phil also served as a Graduate Assistant for Student-Athlete Services at Bowling Green State University. Additionally, they gained experience as a Ticket Operations Intern at the University of Toledo and as a Strategic Sponsorships Intern at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Phil began their career as an Administrative Assistant at the Ohio State Athletic Ticket Office and later worked as an Administrative and Game Day Operations Intern with the Columbus Clippers.

Phil Yackee, MBA, M.Ed., has an impressive education history. Phil began their academic journey at The Ohio State University, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from 2007 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, Phil pursued a Master's degree in Sport Administration at Bowling Green State University, completing the program from 2012 to 2014.

Their commitment to furthering their education did not stop there. Phil returned to The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2018 to 2021. This advanced business education further fortified their qualifications.

Phil's dedication to academic excellence continued as they embarked on a doctoral program at The Ohio State University. From 2023 to 2027, they diligently pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sport Management.
