Mary Stiles

Mary Stiles is the current Vice President and General Counsel at OHIOGUIDESTONE. Previously, they served as the General Counsel at the J.P. Farley Corporation from February 2013 to February 2014, where they provided legal counsel to executive leadership on employment, contract, and business matters. As a key member of the executive team, Mary was a trusted advisor who was actively engaged in all aspects of the business. In addition to advising on regulations applicable to the health plan benefits business, they oversaw the utilization/care management and patient advocacy programs. Mary also managed legal risk and outside counsel support, prepared ISO standards and training, and restructured the plan development process.

Prior to their work at the J.P. Farley Corporation, Mary was a Business Litigation, Employment and Intellectual Property Attorney at Tucker Ellis LLP from September 2009 to January 2013. During their time at Tucker Ellis LLP, Mary handled a variety of business litigation, employment, and intellectual property cases.

Mary is a highly experienced attorney who has spent their career advising businesses on a wide range of legal matters. Mary is a trusted advisor who is well-versed in the complexities of the health care industry and has a proven track record of success in managing risk and resolving disputes.

Mary Stiles received their Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where they graduated Summa Cum Laude. Mary also holds an MSW from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Psychology from the University of Dayton. Mary Stiles is also a doctor of jurisprudence, having received their doctorate from Magnificat High School.
