Tommy Eriksson started their work experience at Scania Group in 2007 as a Test Engineer. Tommy later became an Object Manager and then Head of Environmental Testing and Electromechanics. From there, they held roles as Head of Catalytic converter and particulate filter performance, Head of Electric Machines and Power Electronics, and Development Engineer e-mobility. In 2022, Tommy joined Öhlins Racing AB as a System Engineer.
Tommy Eriksson completed their education at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. From 1998 to 2003, they pursued their M.Sc. in Engineering Physics. Later, from 2003 to 2007, they obtained a Ph.D. in Space Physics from the same institute.
