Dr. Marc Gerigk

Dr. Marc Gerigk's work experience includes various leadership roles in the biotechnological manufacturing industry. Dr. Marc served as the Global Operations Director at Ohly, responsible for managing two manufacturing sites in Germany and the US, along with overseeing process engineering and operational excellence. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President Global Manufacturing and Engineering at Solazyme, where they played a key role in the fermentative manufacturing of products driven from microalgae. Dr. Marc also worked at Evonik, serving as the Vice President Operations Americas and as a Site Manager for a L-Lysine production plant. Dr. Marc'searlier experience includes roles at Bayer as a Process Engineer and Project Engineer, primarily focusing on bio-pharmaceutical products.

Dr. Marc Gerigk completed their education in the field of Bioengineering. From 1990 to 1997, they attended the Technical University Berlin, where they obtained a Master of Biotechnology degree. Following this, from 1998 to 2001, they pursued a PhD in Biotechnology at the Technical University Berlin's Research Center Juelich.
