Chris Pais

Chris Pais currently serves as Vice President of Application Engineering at Ohmium, having held significant roles in various companies focused on energy solutions over a career spanning several decades. Previously, at Aggreko, Chris led innovations in low-carbon power generation and conducted techno-economic evaluations of alternative fuels while overseeing application engineering. Chris also has extensive experience in energy storage technologies from positions at Axiom Exergy, Bosch, and LightSail Energy, where responsibilities included managing thermal energy storage projects and integrating energy systems. Earlier roles at FuelCell Energy involved conducting energy analyses and managing large-scale fuel-cell product development, while experiences at Burckhardt Compression and Rosenblad Design Group included project management and engineering for high-value industrial projects. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
