Josep Maria Ortega Jiménez

Josep Maria Ortega Jiménez has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Josep Maria began their career as a Mainframe Developer at Getronics in 1996 before moving on to Accenture España, where they worked as a Java Developer. At Accenture España, they developed a web-based funds trading system and managed a team of three developers. Josep Maria then joined nexTReT as an IT Project Manager, leading teams in parallel projects and working with technologies such as ASP, VB, SQL Server, Java, Oracle, WebSphere, Jsp, Servlets, and Visual Age.

After working at nexTReT, Josep Maria Ortega Jiménez joined Immediate Solutions as a Technical Consultant. Josep Maria later worked at Hewlett-Packard International as an IT Consultant, responsible for project execution, recruiting, sales, and client relationships. Their experience at Hewlett-Packard involved delivering IT consultancy services to clients and custom software development using technologies such as ASP, VB 6.0, SQL Server, XML, XSL, and COM+.

Josep Maria Ortega Jiménez then joined T-Systems Iberia as a Systems Analyst (Java), where they worked in a team of analysts and delivered UML specifications and technical design reviews for an accounting system developed by a third-party company. Josep Maria worked with technologies such as Java, Struts, Hibernate, and Common Controls.

Subsequently, they joined Modulo Security Solutions - Latin America as a .NET Developer, where they contributed to the development of .NET solutions. Josep Maria worked in this role for nearly seven years before joining The Linde Group, where they continued working as a .NET Developer.

Currently, Josep Maria Ortega Jiménez is working at Ohpen as a .Net Developer, where they are involved in the development of .NET solutions.

Josep Maria Ortega Jiménez attended the Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) from 1992 to 2000, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they earned the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from AWS Training in June 2019.
