Anirudh Sarda, CFA

Anirudh Sarda, CFA has over 14 years of work experience in finance and investment. Anirudh is currently serving as the Head of Equity Investments (Asia) at Oikocredit since August 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal - Private Equity (India) at Oikocredit from August 2017 to July 2021.

Anirudh has also held board positions at various organizations. Anirudh has been a Board Member at Sitara (SEWA Grih Rin Limited) since March 2019. Anirudh served as a Board Observer at Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd. from April 2020 onwards. Additionally, they became a Board Member at RGVN (North East) Microfinance Ltd. in September 2020 and held the position until March 2022. Anirudh also served as a Board Observer at Avanti - Financial Inclusion For 100 Million from April 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Oikocredit, Anirudh worked as the Manager - Corporate Finance at Nava Bharat Ventures from April 2015 to July 2017. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Manager at Small is Beautiful Fund from September 2009 to March 2015. Anirudh began their career as an Analyst in Investment Banking at UBS in June 2008 and worked there until September 2009.

Anirudh Sarda, CFA has a diverse education history. In 2006, they completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree from H.L. Institute of Commerce in 2003, where they studied Accountancy, Statistics, Economics, Taxation, and Business Law. In 2019, Anirudh pursued Digital Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Anirudh has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and expertise. In 2012, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute. Additionally, they completed a certification titled "Blockchain Transformations of Financial Services" offered by Coursera in July 2021.

Anirudh is currently enrolled in the Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance program at the Harvard Business School Executive Education. Anirudh is expected to complete the program in 2023.
