Sergio Fernandez has a diverse background in sales, business analysis, project management, and advisory roles. Sergio started their career as a Project Manager at Sanofi, where they worked on various projects related to reactor development and production optimization. Afterwards, they worked at Expertia Ingenieria & Logistica, where they were responsible for reengineering the national logistic system. Sergio then joined Air Liquide as a Project Manager, overseeing communication between the Benelux branch and the headquarters in Paris. Later, they served as a Technologies R&D Adviser at the Commercial Office of Spain in Vietnam, supporting Spanish companies in their globalization efforts and providing reports on transport infrastructure and energy. Sergio then transitioned to a role at AMEC as a Business Analyst & Developer, where they identified national and international cooperation opportunities and managed projects at the Innovation & International Consultation Departments. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Area Sales Manager Africa at Desmet Ballestra, focusing on the vegetable oil market in Africa and the Middle East. Currently, Sergio is serving as a Regional Sales Manager EMENA at Oil-Dri Corporation of America.
Sergio Fernandez began their education at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in the year 2000. Sergio pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and completed their studies in 2006. Following this, they enrolled at the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in 2005 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Physics & Chemistry in 2006. In 2009, Sergio attended CECO and obtained a degree in International Business Administration known as MIBA.
