BP Singh

BP Singh has extensive experience in the energy sector, with a focus on government and public affairs. BP started their career in 1990 at Sowar Pvt Ltd, where they managed business development activities for foreign companies in the oil & gas, power, and mineral sectors. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at BG Group as General Manager, overseeing government and corporate affairs and supporting BG India's assets. From 2011 to 2016, they served as Director of Government & Public Affairs at BP, providing strategic expertise and managing relationships with government and regulatory agencies. Following this, they joined Meraki Energy Pvt Ltd as Head of Business Development, responsible for managing portfolios of foreign companies in the energy sector and engaging with stakeholders for business tie-ups and policy issues. Most recently, they held the role of Head of External Affairs (New Ventures) at Cairn Oil and Gas, where they managed government and regulatory affairs for a portfolio of 53 oil & gas blocks across India. Currently, Singh is serving as the President of Corporate Affairs at Oilmax Energy Pvt Ltd.

BP Singh earned a Master's degree in Physics from HNB Garhwal University, which they attended from 1983 to 1985. BP later pursued a PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management) with a specialization in Marketing from BIMTECH, where they studied from 1988 to 1991.
