Aleksi Torniainen

Aleksi Torniainen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Aleksi is currently the Chief Information Officer at Oilon, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at Isku-Yhtymä Oy from 2017 to 2022. As the CIO, they contributed strategic insights and led IT-related initiatives, transforming the company's IT architecture to meet evolving business demands.

Before joining Isku-Yhtymä Oy, Aleksi worked at Mediplast Fenno Oy as a Supply Chain Manager from 2016 to 2017 during the integration of Fenno Medical into Mediplast Group. Prior to that, they were the IT and Logistics Manager at Fenno Medical Oy from 2013 to 2016, where they managed cross-functional teams and held responsibility for supply chain and IT operations.

Aleksi began their career at Isku Oy in 2008, where they held several roles including Productization Manager, Production and Logistics coordinator, and Department supervisor. In these roles, they oversaw production and logistics control, developed the Dynamics AX environment, handled purchase and logistics tasks, and supervised a department.

Aleksi Torniainen holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Management/Supply Chain Management from LUT University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Aalto University in 2009 to learn about LEAN production methods. Aleksi also earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Wood Product Technology from Lahti University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2008. Aleksi completed their secondary education at Mukkulan Lukio from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Automation Pro II and Automation Pro I from Workato in 2023, as well as certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Azure Active Directory, Python programming, and SQL Server Reporting Services, all obtained in 2019 from LinkedIn.
