Metin Gezer

Metin Gezer is an accomplished leader in operations excellence with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Operations Excellence Director for North America at Oiltanking GmbH since January 2019, Gezer has driven significant improvements in process capability, efficiency, and customer service initiatives, achieving a 50% boost in efficiency and 100% success in a customer service project. Previously, as Head of Refining/Processing and Marine Terminals at Magellan Midstream Partners, Gezer successfully launched a new refinery and integrated multiple assets to enhance operational efficiency. Other roles include Vice President at Chet Morrison Contractors and Director of Technical Services and Projects at Meridium, where Gezer led significant projects and earned a President's Award for profitability. Gezer's career also includes impactful positions at BP America, ExxonMobil, and Air Liquide, focusing on operational safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Gezer holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
