Juri Reitsakas

Juri Reitsakas has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Juri started their career as a Senior Engineer at Küberneetika Instituudi Arvutustehnika EKB in 1984 and held this position until 1993. Juri then worked as a Specialist at Aetec for a brief period from January 1994 to March 1994.

Following that, Juri joined Sotsiaalpank as an IT Manager in March 1994, where they stayed until May 1995. Despite the bank going bankrupt in August, Juri gained valuable experience and made good connections during their time there.

In 1995, Juri became the CEO of Vorguvara and held this position for a remarkable 25 years until January 2020. During their tenure, they successfully led the company and played a key role in its growth and development.

In January 2020, Juri transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer at MAX 123 Vorguvara AS, where they continue to work. Later in July 2020, they also took on the role of CTO at OIXIO.

Juri Reitsakas obtained a Master's degree in Computer Technology from ITMO University, where they studied from 1979 to 1985. In 2023, they also acquired a certification as a BGP Security Associate from RIPE NCC.
