Jens Ensted Danielsen

Jens Ensted Danielsen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jens Ensted began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Aarhus in 2000, where they worked until April 2004. Following this, they worked as an Owner at Fa Jens Ensted Danielsen from October 2000 to December 2004. Jens Ensted then joined Lund University as a Research Assistant for Technical Engineering from May 2004 to December 2004.

In 2005, Jens Ensted Danielsen joined EMGS ASA, where they held several positions including Senior Geophysicist (January 2005 - December 2005), G&G Manager (January 2006 - January 2008), Vice President Geology & Geophysics (January 2008 - May 2009), Director on the Board of Directors (December 2007 - June 2009), and Vice President G&G Solutions (May 2009 - August 2012).

Jens Ensted'snext career move was to Statoil in August 2012, where they served as a Principal Reservoir Geophysicist (August 2012 - June 2013) and later as the Discipline Leader for Reservoir Geophysics (July 2013 - March 2016).

Currently, Jens Ensted Danielsen is working at OKEA ASA, starting their tenure as Lead Geophysicist (April 2016 - August 2018), followed by a promotion to VP Geosciences (September 2018 - November 2022). Jens Ensted then took on the role of Vice President Subsurface Business Development & Projects (November 2022 - September 2023) and later became the Vice President of Business Development (from September 2023 onwards) at OKEA ASA.

Jens Ensted Danielsen completed their education with a MSc degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Aarhus University from 1994 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Aabenraa Gymnasium from 1989 to 1993 for their secondary education. In 1998, they had a brief stint at UNIS.
