Taylor Mammel

Taylor Mammel currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology since June 2023. Prior to this role, Mammel held the same title at the BC Liquor Distribution Branch from 2021 to June 2023 and was a member of the Board of Directors for the CIO Association of Canada in the CISO Division during the same period. Between 2020 and 2021, Mammel acted as the Manager of Information Security at Vancity and participated as a member of the Threat Intelligence Forum with the Canadian Bankers Association. Additionally, Mammel was the President of the Board of Directors at SFU Community Association from 2019 to 2021. An early career spanned various organizations including IBM, Peer 1 Hosting, Central 1 Credit Union, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, and Loblaw LCL from January 2007 to October 2020.
