Bill Freeman

Bill Freeman is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as a Professor at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation since October 2019 and as a Research Career Scientist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since April 2018. With a robust background in pharmacology, Bill Freeman previously held the position of Donald W. Reynolds Chair in Aging Research at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from November 2013 to October 2019. Prior to this, Bill Freeman was an Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Director of the Genome Sciences Facility at Penn State College of Medicine from July 2005 to November 2013. Bill Freeman's research journey includes fellowships at Emory University and the Vollum Institute between 2001 and 2004. Bill Freeman earned a PhD in Pharmacology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a BA in English and Chemistry from Wake Forest University.
