Sean Turner

Sean Turner is an experienced molecular biologist with a strong background in laboratory management and research. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Laboratory at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Sean focuses on the effects of estrogen on dendritic cell development under the guidance of Dr. Susan Kovats. Earlier roles include consultant at Crescendo Biosciences, where protocols for RNA isolation from stored blood were developed, and Research Director at Pure Protein LLC, where a method for producing soluble HLA proteins was established. Sean also contributed as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, aiding in the establishment of an HLA sequencing facility. Sean holds a B.Sc. Hons in Environmental Biology from the University College of Wales Aberystwyth.
