Alessio Caciagli has had a varied career in the fields of data science and academia. Alessio began their career in 2012 as a student orientator at the University of Trento. In 2013, they became a studente at the Universiteit Utrecht. In 2014, they were a summer student at the Helmoltz-Zentrum-Dresden-Rossendorf. In 2015, they were an internship at Philips Benelux and a PhD student and supervisor at the University of Cambridge. In 2019, they began their current role as a data scientist at OKRA Technologies.
Alessio Caciagli obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Physics from Università di Trento in 2012. Alessio then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Nanomaterials: Chemistry and Physics from Utrecht University in 2015. In 2019, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp from Udemy in March 2019 and Machine Learning from Coursera in February 2019.
