Ondřej Zacha

Ondřej Zacha has a diverse background in data science and analysis. Their most recent position was as a Data Scientist at OKRA Technologies, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Xccelerated, a joint initiative between Xebia and GoDataDriven, from September 2019 to September 2020. During this time, they participated in an advanced training program and worked for partner companies such as Heineken, KLM, and ING.

Before Xccelerated, Ondřej was a Data Scientist at Suburbia, a startup alternative data company. In this role, they built automated tools, monitored data quality, and transformed data into easy-to-analyze datasets. Ondřej worked at Suburbia from December 2019 to May 2020.

Prior to their roles at Xccelerated and Suburbia, Ondřej worked at Emesa Nederland BV | Emesa Holdings BV from 2016 to 2019. Ondřej started as a Data Analyst, where they supported the sales and marketing departments by providing analyses and creating dashboards and reports. Later, they became a Data Scientist, responsible for designing new algorithms for the auction engine and analyzing simulations and live tests.

Ondřej's first work experience was as an intern at Veneficus, where they conducted a thesis project analyzing train departure data to predict train delays. Ondřej worked on various data analysis projects and applied machine learning techniques during this internship, which took place from April 2016 to July 2016.

Ondřej Zacha completed their education in a chronological order. From 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Ekonomie a finance at Charles University. Following that, they attended the University of Konstanz for a year, in 2014-2015. Then, from 2015 to 2016, they studied at the University of Amsterdam and earned a Master of Science degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Ondřej also obtained several certifications. In September 2016, they completed a Python 3 Course from SoloLearn. In May 2016, they also acquired a Certificate of Completion for SQL Fundamentals from SoloLearn.
