Jimmy Acosta

Jimmy Acosta is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Okta since August 2022, Jimmy oversees a globally distributed team focused on Identity and Access management for the prominent Customer Identity Management platform formerly known as Auth0. Prior to this role, Jimmy spent nearly two decades at Citrix, culminating in the position of Vice President of Engineering, where responsibilities included leading engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to deliver Access Security services. Jimmy also held various senior engineering and program management roles at Citrix, driving key initiatives such as XenDesktop and Citrix Endpoint Management. Previous experience includes positions at Be Here Technologies, SGI, and Sun Microsystems. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
